The Breed
Our Boerboels
The Boerboel is our heritage breed – developed right here in South Africa to guard remote homesteads where a dog was often the only line of defence. Living with Boerboels on a working farm, we breed them in the environment the breed was created for.
Our breeding stock is registered, health-tested and selected for the balance that defines a great Boerboel: imposing enough to deter any intruder, yet calm and gentle enough to sleep beside your children. Puppies are raised underfoot amongst family and farm life from their first days.

Temperament
Confident, calm and intensely loyal. A natural protector with strong territorial instincts, deeply affectionate with its family and famously patient with children it knows. Needs an experienced, consistent owner.
Size & Presence
A mastiff-type dog of serious substance. Males typically stand 60-70 cm and females 55-65 cm, with adults commonly weighing 60-90 kg. Colours range from fawn and red-brown to brindle, often with a black mask.
Health & Testing
We test hips and elbows on all breeding stock and select for functional conformation through formal appraisal. Certificates and appraisal results for our sires and dams are available for every litter.
