The Process
Buying & Reserving
How does the buying process work?
It starts with an enquiry through our contact form, phone or WhatsApp. We will talk about your home, your experience and which breed (and which puppy) suits you. Once we agree on a match, a deposit reserves your puppy, and we keep you updated with photos until collection day at eight weeks or older.
Do you require a deposit, and is it refundable?
Yes – a deposit secures a specific puppy and takes it off the market for other buyers. 50% deductible from the purchase price; refundable only if we cannot supply the puppy.
Can we visit the farm and meet the parents?
Absolutely – we encourage it. You are welcome to visit 1 Molyneaux Rd, Greenside, Kimberley by appointment, meet the dam (and sire where he is our own dog) and see exactly how our puppies are raised.
Do you deliver puppies, or must we collect?
Collection at the farm is our preference – it lets you meet us and the parents. On the other hand we offer delivery services via reliable pet delivery agencies both Airfreight and Road Courrier
Health & Paperwork
What Your Puppy Comes With
What vaccinations and deworming will my puppy have had?
Every puppy leaves with age-appropriate vaccinations administered by our veterinarian, a full deworming programme from two weeks of age, a microchip, and a vet-issued health record card showing exactly what was given and when the next doses are due.
Do you offer a health guarantee?
Yes. a 48-72 hour veterinary inspection window plus a longer guarantee against hereditary conditions.
Will my puppy have KUSA registration papers?
Puppies from our KUSA-registered litters go home with their registration paperwork (or with the documentation in process, which we will state clearly before you pay). The registration certificate confirms your puppy’s pedigree is recorded with the Kennel Union of Southern Africa.
What health testing do the parents have?
All breeding stock is hip- and elbow-graded. Our Rottweilers are DNA-tested for JLPP and our German Shepherds for DM, with matings planned so no affected puppy can be produced. Copies of certificates are available for every litter – just ask.
Your Puppy at Home
Settling In
How are your puppies socialised before they leave?
Our puppies are raised in the farmhouse, handled daily from birth, and exposed to household noise, children, other dogs and normal farm life. From three weeks we add new surfaces, sounds and gentle challenges appropriate to each age.
What should I have ready before my puppy arrives?
A secure sleeping area or crate, food and water bowls, the food we recommend (we send some home with the puppy), a collar and lead, and a veterinarian booked for a check-up within the first few days. Read our blog for a full preparation guide.
What support do you offer after I take my puppy home?
Lifetime breeder support: feeding, training, health and behaviour advice for the life of the dog. We would always rather take a call about a small worry today than hear about a big problem next year.
