Klein Sandfontein Guiness
Guiness is the progeny of the very successful mating of Klein Sandfontein Suddenly Summer and Klein Sandfontein Nutcracker. His litter sister, Klein Sandfontein Winter, has produced a “super son” taking the USA show circuit by storm — Alpha Delta A Winter Storm Warning, sired by Klein Sandfontein Rabinowitz.
Having missed the show circuit due to Covid, Guiness made his debut at the Cape Town show on 27 January — and astounded us by winning the Senior Male Championship as well as the Male with Two Progeny class, every breeder’s dream. He is such a happy chappy and we love and adore him dearly.
Jambal Chaka
It is with immense pride that we welcome Jambal Chaka to our breeding programme, entrusted to us by Nardus Coopoo and Karel Lötter to introduce new diversity into our gene pool. Chaka is a magnificent male with impeccable manners, a confident and balanced temperament and exceptional conformation.
His pedigree carries the renowned old bloodlines of Groenberg Rambo, Voorslag and Piet-Zyn-Drift, and the Middelpos dogs in his pedigree are already connected to our own bloodlines, making this combination particularly meaningful. We eagerly look forward to watching his progeny develop.
Klein Sandfontein Hunter
Hunter, together with his exceptional litter sister KS Saffron, is the result of a remarkable pairing of some of the finest bloodlines in our kennel: KS Nutcracker, KS Benji and the renowned beauty queens KS Suzy Q and Suddenly Summer on his sire’s side, with Middelpos Alpha, KS Huey and his stunning mother KS Peppa on his dam line.
That carefully curated pedigree is evident in his quality, presence and balanced structure. We look forward to seeing him make his mark in both the show ring and the breeding arena.
Klein Sandfontein Tinder
From Klein Sandfontein Hollyhock x Klein Sandfontein Matana, Tinder is a very specially bred male and was a definite keeper from a tiny tot: the spectacular “Benji” looks and big, broad chest, paired with the sweet, kind temperament of his line.
His dam Hollyhock is the sister of Klein Sandfontein Judge, the highest-appraised male globally on the Linear System to date, and Tinder is one of very few studs carrying Groenberg Rambo only once in his pedigree, in the 3rd generation. We are very happy with his progeny, which will hopefully take him to “super stud” status one day.
Klein Sandfontein Blaze Jackson
Blaze Jackson found his way back to us as an older puppy — a true gift, given how precious his dam, Klein Sandfontein Blizzard, is to our breeding programme. With his litter sister Mon Ami and half-sister Edelweiss already here, his return completed the picture.
From the moment he rejoined our pack, Blaze brought a calm, confident presence. He is maturing beautifully and already proving a wonderful young sire — his progeny are striking, carrying his strong, clean lines and balanced temperament. The future is bright for Blaze Jackson.
Klein Sandfontein Mossad
Born on 3 March 2023 from Klein Sandfontein Nitey Nite x Klein Sandfontein Major Tom, Mossad stood out immediately — a striking, handsome male with a kind, loving personality who crept deep into our hearts.
His size stuns people almost daily: a head circumference of 78 cm and 90 kg while still quite lean, with simply incredible bone structure. He passed an EMBARK DNA test in the U.S. with excellent health markers and the IDEXX proBNP cardiac test with flying colours before breeding. His progeny are still young but already very impressive.
Klein Sandfontein Major Tom
Son of the KS Rasputin x MES O’Hara combination, Major Tom was destined to excel from a very young age — and he has. Despite being as big and bulky as a calf, he is remarkably easy to manage, with the most beautiful temperament.
His progeny all display his epic characteristics: the huge head, the impressive bone, and that sweet temperament bred through his offspring. Look out for his youngsters!
Klein Sandfontein Israel
Israel came into the world as a singleton — brindle at birth, fawn a few weeks later, and then, quite unbelievably, pitch black one day. The sale was cancelled on the spot. He was also our last chance to retain a male from the exceptional line of his sire, Klein Sandfontein The Mack Attack, after he was sold to Spain.
At just 15 months old he won every age group class, every male championship title and was awarded “Dog of the Day” — success that is rare for a black dog. Blessed with the sweetest, most endearing personality, he will join our breeding programme very soon. Wherever Israel goes, he truly owns it.
Klein Sandfontein Bijan
Bijan comes from a lineage of excellence as the full brother of the renowned Klein Sandfontein Rabinowitz, whose offspring recently dominated the Westminster stage in New York. He carries the same impressive genetic traits, characteristics and health standards that define our line.
He has undergone exemplary health testing, with outstanding hip, elbow and heart results. Though he could be a bit bigger, his genetics carry the potential for larger size — and he exemplifies the outstanding temperament that defines Klein Sandfontein dogs.
Klein Sandfontein Shotgun
Shotgun is the very last offspring of the esteemed Just Nutz — a beautiful and blessed breeding that produced an extraordinary dog with a stunning coat colour.
He has excellent health test results, with outstanding hip and elbow scores, and has inherited the best characteristics of both parents: good looks and a remarkable temperament. We are very excited to include him in our breeding programme.
